About Pittari

About Pittari

Pittari was created only a few years ago in 2023 by Dean and Lisa Batty, both of
whom have a wealth of knowledge in the clothing industry. We both have an interest and fascination for many things Japanese and having spent time there we were looking for a name that represents our love of the Country and its people. We hit upon the word Pittari. Pittari has multiple meanings, cosy, close fitting, comfortable….

Bridging the gap between heritage and fashion, Pittari is a British knitwear collection, it
comprises of knitwear for men and women, it also includes scarfs and hats.
We own our own factories and hence we are very flexible often working closely with our
suppliers and our wholesale customers, offering dual branding and exclusive designs and
colours

Using only British and Irish yarns, lambswool, Donegal, Wool and Silk mixes also Eco friendly
none dyed yarns, we produce durable, comfortable, wearable products of high-end quality,
all hand finished, we also offer a very competitive pricing structure.
